This is an online course. Attendance is tracked through your participation: completing assignments, posting in discussions, and engaging with course materials on time. If you go seven or more days without any activity, expect an outreach email from the instructor.
Students who do not participate during the first week of class may be reported as a no-show and dropped from the course. Complete at least one graded activity in Week 1 to confirm your enrollment.
Late submissions are accepted only in the case of a documented emergency. Contact the instructor before the deadline if you know you will need an extension. After the fact, documentation is required.
All submitted work must be your own. Assignments may be checked through Turnitin. First offense: zero on the assignment. Second offense: an F in the course. If you are unsure whether something counts as a violation, ask before you submit.
The last day to withdraw from this course is at the end of Week 7. Withdrawals are processed through SeaNet. Talk to your advisor before making this decision.
Course materials (slides, handouts, videos, assignments) are for use in this section during this term only. Do not distribute, upload, or share them outside the course.
